TECHNOLOGICAL ADVANCEMENT EFFECT TO SOCIETIES

In the this age, technology takes one of the biggest part our life. Technology just not only help us solving our daily problems but also give a contribution in the other part like military, education,medicine etc. Technology also change people’s lifestyle and culture. For example, many years ago people get a difficult for sending massage. It takes a long time if we use letter for sending an urgent massage to a place that has very long distance from where you are but now people just sending massage by SMS(Short Massage Service) on their mobile phone and the receiver will get the massage just a few second later. The technology advancement brings many change to our life since it make our life more simple than before but just a little people realized the technological advancement effect to societies.
Technology sometimes get unhealthy than the traditional way. For the example, today, using plastic for hot food is very unsuggested way if you want to become healthy. Using banana leaf, the traditional way, for hot food is more healthy because it’s still natural than plastic. In social life, technology makes people become individualist. That is happened becaused technology takes too much part of someone’s life. People don’t need to meet face to face because they have internet and phone. The internet has negative effect too. People also can chat with other people that they never know before. They can build a relationship with the other without known by their couple. This means technology has changed our social life. In culture, many people forget their identity culture because the influence of the technology like television. For example, many girl wearing mini skirt. The technological advancement makes we can learn other culture but technology can make we forget our culture too if we are not ready to receive other culture. Some of other culture that doesn’t match with our culture is, for example, kissing in a public place. Now, everyone can watch movie that show kissing in a public place. That will make demorality for our country. Other example, let us first examine an exceedingly significant technological advance of our time, nuclear technology. Nuclear technology is research that involves the reactions of atomic nuclear. It has many vital applications in modern society, the most prominent of which are nuclear weapons, nuclear medicine, and nuclear power. The most controversial of these is, without a doubt, nuclear weapons. Some country has developing this weapon for a war. That is very dangerous. Because they can kill many people in the world in a second. The radiation effect can make us paralyze and cause other disease too not only by the nuclear weapon but also by other nuclear technology like nuclear generator. Nuclear generator is powerful resource for energy but if there is an accident, the effect caused is very dangerous for human around the nuclear generator.
The opposite, technology take the most important part of our live too. Perhaps one of the most vital technological advances in our society today is in the field of human medicine and health sciences. This field deals with the maintenance, prolongment, and restoration of human health through the study, diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of disease and injury. Medicine is an area where knowledge is obtained, then applied to treatment. It has been around at least as far as the beginning of recorded history, perhaps even farther. Today, modern medicine is practiced within a well-developed framework of health-care infrastructure. Research in the field of medicine has allowed for the development of many new treatments, drugs, medicines, and solutions that have allowed for the dramatic prolongment of the human lifespan. Today, with the influence of medicine, the lifespan of the average human is only increasing. Medicine in today’s world provides the most vital of all services; it ensures the survival of the human race as a whole. Another prominent technological innovation that well represents our society today is the Internet. The Internet is the worldwide, publicly accessible network of interconnected computer networks that transmit data between themselves. It is an extremely large network that consists of countless smaller networks. The World Wide Web is accessible only through this Internet infrastructure which allows us our access to websites, email, file sharing, downloads, and media. As well as being an important provider for us common citizens who wish to access the World Wide Web, the internet serves a much greater purpose. It allows for the sharing of information almost instantaneously between scholars, researchers, and others. It allows for information to be shared from the United States to China in less than a second. Before the times of the internet, the other alternatives to transmit information were not nearly as efficient or effective. The Internet allows for us to, in some ways make the world smaller. In the days of today’s stock markets, financial infrastructure, global news organizations, powerful militarizes, strong governments and big corporations, instantaneous communication is an asset we can not afford to lose. The Internet allows for our society in modern day times to interconnect and promote globalization and information sharing.
So, technology just like a knife with two eyes. On one hand a technology innovation will increase the social strata of a community, and on the other hand, it causes some social conflicts though they can be controlled. Furthermore, the speed of a technology innovation will affect a society to which it is introduced. One of the effects is that the society experiences a cultural lag. Therefore, it is necessary that the engineers take into account the social aspects into their technology innovation. This tradition, in which science and sociology are combined, has existed since hundreds of years ago. This combination results from the fact that during the innovation process, some engineering and scientific problems cannot be separated from the economic, social, political, and cultural problems of a society.

The Disadvantages of Using Mobile Phone Should be Realized by The User

Now a days, Mobile phone becomes common thing to everyone but not everyone realize the negative effects caused by the bad attitude of using mobile phone such as making user addicted. For example, the student chats with mobile phone during the class session. This is happened because the bad attitude of using mobile phone that they usually do. That's why, the disadvantages of using mobile phone should be realized by the user so they know how to use mobile phone in the right time and the right place.
Some case that happened, student becomes lazy. This is happened because using mobile phone for chat while class session held. Mobile phone also the best way for student cheating with the other friends during examination. This mean, they don't need to study. Mobile phone also can make someone disturbed. Some people speak loudly when they are in call that will makes someone besides them disturbed. Calling people in the midnight also can makes the bad effect that people speak loudly does.
It is okay for student using mobile phone or the others for using mobile phone but when they know how, where and when using mobile phone. They also should realized the negative effect that they make if they do some of bad attitude in using mobile phone.
